Yes. It's just a little under a mile though, so if you're in good health it's fine. If not, there is parking close to the Port as well.
The hotel does not have it's own shuttle. There is a general shuttle service that goes to all the hotels in that area for about $45/person round trip. Like the first comment said, there is no need to shuttle to the French Quarter, but if you really don't want to walk there is a trolley car station at the hotel that will take you to the outer edge of the French quarter (near cafe du monde and all that)

Angela, Yes , we have several options that includes a full American style breakfast and two Coffee Express stations. Formal breakfast is from 6:30AM -11AM and the two express options open at 6AM . Jim T.
